Sum It Up! Full of humor and mayhem, absurdity and sheer brilliance, violence and full of blood.

IMMORTAL. INGENIOUS. AND DOWNRIGHT INFURIATING.

Void City's resident badass vampire has a secret to keep, everything to lose, and a plan to win it all. Eric has taken control of the city's supernatural hierarchy, putting all the deals and contracts that allow Void City to function up for renegotiation. When he installs his insane vampire daughter, Greta, as Void City's sheriff of the supernatural, bloody mayhem ensues. To further complicate things, the love of Eric's life is back from the dead, immortally young, at a cost that has put Eric under the thumb of a very powerful demon. The mysterious mouser Talbot, morose mage Magbidion, and all of Eric's thralls are trying to help him keep things under control . . . But with early onset Alzheimer's, vampire hunters, demons, a band of chupacabra, a cursed cousin with a serious grudge, and Rachel as his new "handler" . . . there's just not an app for that. Review:
There's a new sheriff in town, and she and her deputy will have heads rolling, literally.
Void City has got to be the most original vampire series to have come out in a very long time. Granted, there have been other stories entailing vampires with Alzheimer’s, but usually those were fragile old men/women turned at a very late age because their sires' couldn't stand to let them die. Not Eric Courtney! Though he was turned at the ripe age of thirty-something, he already had what is known as early onset Alzheimer’s. Even with that being the case, the only thing more dangerous than this vampire's fangs is his brilliant brain, when he can remember what's going on that is.

Eric is determined to put a new spin on the term 'loophole' and the use of an app to a whole new level. After making the worst kind of deal you make with a demon, an open ended one, Eric has come up with "The Plan" that will make Lady Scrytha rue the day she ever heard the family name of Courtney.

As if that isn't enough to deal with, since killing that fat bald guy, Phil, Eric is also the head hauncho vamp of Void City. As one of his first tasks, he appoints his crazy, yet also brilliant, daughter Gretta as sheriff. And who better to appoint as her deputy than newly found cousin Evie, who puts end to the question does the Courtney family curse only affect the men. Bet she now wishes she went to church every Sunday.

Fans, new and old, will love Burned. Full of humor and mayhem, absurdity and sheer brilliance, violence and full of blood. All of the characters readers have come to love, and those we also hate, are back and in action, secrets are revealed, as well as new allies.

I do not know when book 5 is due out, but it will definitely be on my TBR list!!
