For one newly single lady, it's time to make things hot…

When Zaria Ali married her high school sweetheart, she jumped straight into adulthood. But twenty-one years later, her husband has left her for a younger woman, her kids are in college-and Zaria is looking to make up for lost time. Who says she can't be living la vida loca in her forties? And who says she can't date hot twenty-six-year-old Kaleb Strong?...

Kaleb may be young, but he's mature-and ready to settle down with the right woman. Zaria lightens up his serious side-and turns him on like no one ever has. But is there more between them than just explosive chemistry? The only way to find out is to follow his heart, and show Zaria that when it comes to love, age is nothing but a number… (Amazon)
I really and truly enjoyed this story.  The characters were both very believable, as was their first meeting and their love connection.  I enjoyed reading the moments between the loving, which were the parts of her life that Zaria had committed to keeping to herself.

As a scorned and slightly bitter woman, Zaria had decided that men needed to be categorized.  Her 'young men' were a favourite past time, meant for enjoying and then tossing aside.  But as Zaria continues to spend time Kaleb and really learn about the man he is on the inside, her heart begins to defy her.  Determined not to be another man's property, and therefore disposed of at his whim…Zaria dumps Kaleb.

There are many touching moments as each of these characters tries to learn who they are…after they have been 'them'.  Zaria learns that she no longer wants to be the woman she thought she did.  Kaleb, too, realizes that maybe a house full of kids is not in the cards for him, if he continues to pursue Zaria.  As with life, love has its ups and downs.  The person who looks good on paper may not be your love connection.  Sometimes, opening your heart and your life to a new plan leads to the best solution.  Enjoy!
