As far as the mortal world knows, Cord Logan died two years ago. In reality, he stalks the French Quarter, searching for victims. Review -
Going in I anticiapted this book to be more action based having read anything from this author before.  But as keep having to remind myself, never judge a book by its cover.  This book is more of a M/M erotica than anything else, so much so that the actual storyline becomes lost in it.  Which is sad, seeing as how when you get to the VERY end and everything is, finally, explained where all actions add up, to a certain degree, the readers see just how much potential the book actually had.  Only some readers may not even make it that far.
Cord is the newest member of a fraternity of gay male vampires. Upon revelations he could not bare to deal with, he decides to venture on his own.  Back to the city in which he was declared dead a mere two years prior where he runs into an old 'love', twin of the witch who tried to kill him and discovers a whole other side to the supernatural he never knew existed.
Sounds like a great plot right?  If only it panned out that way.  Readers will become more and  more frustrated with the main character as he is portraid as nothing more than a immature, selfish whore with nothing more than sex on his mind, even when his best friend's life hangs in the balance due to his actions.  Don't get me wrong, I love sex and reading about it, but just not when it overshadows everything else.  Especially when one of partners may have been staight, in love with a woman and under a spell when they had sex with each other, that's pretty much the same as date rape.  A couple of females in the book wouldn't hurt either.
That being said, readers who would like to read a M/M/M erotica that is strictly sex and no romance, this book is for you.  Readers who want action, characters to fall in love with, a couple to root for, you may want to skip this one.  The best part about Need is the very end.
