Review
I have had my eye on Collide
for a couple of weeks since the summary has “Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome” I
knew this would be just the right read for me and it was. I fell instantly for
Gavin Blake and all his smexyness however, Emily at times I wanted to reach out
and smack her! But let’s face it that is what makes a good read when you
connect to character’s so much that you can picture yourself giving them a
piece of your mind. Right?
Emily has moved to New York to be near her boyfriend (Dillon)
after finishing college and just losing her mother. She loves him especially
after all his kindness with helping her with her mother but she wants to take
things slow and live with her BFF from college and work on finding a teaching job.
She ends up working at a local restaurant where she crosses paths with Gavin
and there is an immediate attraction that she has to deny but the last thing
she expected was Gavin is actually a friend of Dillon’s. So you can imagine the
angst in this one!
I really enjoyed Collide
but at times it was predictable and like I mentioned before Emily gave me a
rash from frustration but all that is forgiven because Gavin is my kind of man
and I look forward to reading the next installment!
A little formula but if it aint broke right? Gavin sounds like a real show stopper for you to overlook some of the story's predictability.
