Sum It Up!
All I can say is, "Ahhhhh". What a sweet, lovely, romantic summer read.

Summary:
LOVE CAN HAPPEN IN A HEARTBEAT.

Grace never thought she'd be starting her life over from scratch. Losing everything has landed her in Lucky Harbor, working as a dog walker for overwhelmed ER doctor Josh Scott. But the day his nanny fails to show up, Grace goes from caring for Josh's loveable mutt to caring for his rambunctious kids. Soon Grace is playing house with the sexy single dad...

With so many people depending on him, Josh has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family-until Grace arrives in town. Now this brainy blonde is turning his life inside out and giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "good bedside manner." Josh and Grace don't know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day... (Goodreads)

All I can say is, "Ahhhhh". What a sweet, lovely, romantic summer read. Heading back to Lucky Harbor is like putting on your favorite movie and sitting back to enjoy the ride!

Grace has expectations out of life. Unfortunately, they are not her expectations, but her parents. And, as my brilliant sister is oft to say, "Expectations are resentments under construction." And this statement is never truer than when Grace tries to live the life her parent's expect and ends up alone, lonely, jobless and homeless. Thankfully, Grace is resourceful and creative. While managing to string together a series of temporary positions, Grace scraps by living at the local B&B and eating cupcakes.

Josh Scott is gorgeous, smart, responsible and the favorite doctor in Lucky Harbor. Unfortunately, his busy practice, love of ER shifts, paraplegic sister and young son monopolize all of his extremely divided attention. His life is not conducive to a romance, never mind a new relationship that would take time and effort. What Josh really needs is a dog walker for his new puppy, a live-in Nanny for his son, and a BFF for his stubborn sister. You guessed it, Grace, jack-of-all trades/master of none!

I loved watching Grace ingratiate herself into the Scott family. I love how smooth and seamless her entry into the mix was and how she was accepted by the kid, the dog and the sister. I also loved how Josh tried and failed at resisting Grace. As these two grew together and Grace brought the whole family some much needed balance, I just knew that some angst was coming. When it hit, I was prepared and I was cheering for Josh and Grace to get there HEA...and I loved it! Enjoy!
