Sum It Up!
I highly recommend this books to any and all readers who love vamps, while their isn't a ton of blood and gore, there is plenty of intrigue, humor and suspense.

Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow’s only daytime vampire concierge, knows more about the undead than she’d like. Running all their daylight errands—from letting in the plumber to picking up some chilled O neg—gives her a look at the not-so-glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; relationships with vamps are strictly business, not friendship—and certainly not anything else. But then she finds her newest client, Cal, poisoned on his kitchen floor, and only Iris can help.

Cal - who would be devastatingly sexy, if Iris allowed herself to think that way - offers Iris a hefty fee for hiding him at her place until he figures out who wants him permanently dead. Even though he’s imperious, unfriendly and doesn't seem to understand the difference between "employee" and "servant," Iris agrees, and finds herself breaking more and more of her own rules to help him - particularly those concerning nudity.
Turns out what her quiet little life needed was some intrigue & romance—in the form of her very own stray vampire. (Goodreads)
Review -
Molly Harper brings to pages a perfect combination of violence, humor, love, turmoil, intrigue, suspense and more than a hint of fang.
Iris Scanlon, the human go-to for all vampires, whom also coordinated Jane's almost disastrous wedding, has a strict policy; never get involved with the client, never drop anything off at a clients residence unless it is broad daylight.... Well, her policy may change once goes to crop off contracts to a new client and finds herself falling head over heels for him, literally. Cletus Calix, Cal, is an ancient Greek vampire whom is on a mission to to discover who has been poisoning vampires' donor blood. The poison, once entered into the blood stream of a vampire, sends the vampire into a bloodlust so great the only thing they care about is savagely feeding, even if the victim is someone they love. For an ancient vampire like Cal, there should be no problem in solving this matter. At least, that may have been the case had he not been poisoned and rendered paralyzed on his own kitchen floor. And though he view humans as nothing more than a bump on the road, the human that bumps into him, may be the only one who can save him, and his heart.
Harper knows how to plant her characters' right into the readers' hearts, making readers love, care for and cherish them, and rooting for their HEA from the beginning to the end. There is never a dull moment in this little backwater town. Expect to see all of your favorites from the Jane Jameson series', and a new spunky teen, Gladiola "Gigi" Scanlon. This book is perfect readers who loved the Jane series, and even to those who didn't, it can definitely be a stand alone read.I highly recommend this books to any and all readers who love vamps, while their isn't a ton of blood and gore, there is plenty of intrigue, humor and suspense.
