Sum It Up!  I wanted to throw this book against the wall and then hug it to my chest all at the same time.

A continuation of the novel, Thoughtless...

A lot can happen in a year. You grow, you change, you learn from your mistakes. And Kiera had made a lot of mistakes to learn from. But she had learned, and she was determined to never cause a man pain again, especially the amazing man who currently held her heart. But life offers new challenges for every relationship, and when Kiera’s love is put to the ultimate test, will it come out the other side unscathed?

Love is easy…trust is hard.  (Goodreads)

Review:
S.C. Stephens is now in my top favorite author list for Contemporary Romance reads. Thoughtless was such an emotional rollercoaster, so much so, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to endure more torture when reading Effortless. However, like a sickness, I couldn’t keep away from reading Effortless.

Kiera and Kellan are back in this story, their love as strong as ever- the sex better, hotter than in Thoughtless. Being in a popular local band, Kellan and his band mates get an offer they can’t refuse. Reluctant to leave each other, Kiera understands how important this opportunity is for Kellan. And as selfish as she wants to be, if she tells Kellan to stay, he won’t be the only one who’ll be passing up what could change their lives forever.

Trust- it was all about trust.

The days are long but the nights are longer without Kellan by her side. Kellan knew all too well what happens when someone you love is left waiting for them to come back but with love like he and Kiera’s, nothing can come between them…

Secrets are the underlining of destruction, especially when it comes to those you love. Kiera finds the scavenger hunt of love notes left by Kellan- a sure way to ensure how much he loves her and would never love another the way he loves her. Christmas comes, and so does their questioning devotion to one another.

I have to say, I wanted to throw this book against the wall and then hug it to my chest all at the same time. We get our happy ending but not without the raging emotions that made reading this beautiful story worthwhile.
