Sum It Up! I would suggest anyone who enjoys reading thrilling, fun packed romances give this book a go.

Evelyn Hadley-Attwater has it all -- a genteel Victorian life replete with loving husband, ball gowns and elegant parties. No one, including the man she married, suspects that she was once "Eve," a spy for England's most enigmatic intelligence agency. Summoned for one final assignment, the excitement of her former life and memories of her mysterious, flirtatious boss "Sir" prove too tempting....

Adrian Hadley-Attwater is a respectable, dignified gentleman. But even the most proper gentlemen have secrets of their own. Secrets from the rest of the world, from their families, from their wives. Secrets that have a price. Now, as a veil of secrecy frays, a tantalizing game of cat and mouse will test the bounds of unfailing love....  (Goodreads)

Review:
I love Victoria Alexander’s works! This is the second book I’ve read from her and I’ve got to say, she definitely keeps you on the edge!

Eve and Adrian have been married for two years, and while both have past secrets they decided to forget the past and focus on their future.  However, the past always comes back and when you least expect it too.

Eve once worked as a spy for the crown and while utterly in love and happily married to her husband, she is called back to duty. Eve doesn’t necessarily withhold what she did before marrying Adrian, though she isn’t sure that once he found out he would want to continue being married to her. Without further do, Eve agrees to the job knowing this would be her final.

Adrian loves his wife dearly, but as of late has noticed a subtle change in her demeanor. Eve is restless and has mentioned how predictable he is. What his lovely wife doesn’t know is that he too was a spy for the crown and was the man she wrote flirtatiously to during their time in the department. Unknowing of his wife’s new assignment, Adrian becomes obsessed with the idea of her infidelity only to learn by his old friend at the department that she was asked to snake out information for them.

All too soon, Adrian creates problem after problem until his choices spiral out of control leaving you shaking your head with disapproval. The plot is easy to figure out but the witty writing by Mrs. Alexander keeps you hooked and reading more.

Wicked Little Lies is such a funny story with great main and secondary characters. The secondary love story is just as funny and I found myself wanting to read more about them as well. I’m hoping the next book in this series will be about them. I would suggest anyone who enjoys reading thrilling, fun packed romances give this book a go.
