New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips presents her third novel set in the quaint upstate New York town of Serendipity—where fate, fortune and love intertwine…

Police Officer Dare Barron has had a crush on Liza McKnight ever since he was a teenager. But despite his lifelong attraction, the closest he’s ever come to interacting with her is watching Liza regularly bail out her brother at the station. Dare’s dark past with Liza’s brother, Brian, has always kept him from pursuing her.

But suddenly Liza finds herself in need of protection and Dare appoints himself as the man for the job. And while the sizzling attraction between Dare and Liza draws them together, the past that Dare and Brian share threatens to keep the two apart forever.  (Goodreads)

Review:
Karma is the endearing story of Dare and Liza's challenging romance. This book is an emotional roller-coaster of love, frustration, loyalty and resolve. Phillips does a remarkable job of giving the reader a thorough story that will leave you gratified by the end.

Dare is a 26 year old cop who still is smitten by his high school crush, Liza. He looks forward to catching glimpses of her whenever she comes to bail out her brother but Dare has never acted on his feelings until Liza gets injured and their physical attraction explodes. However, they both have not let go of their haunted past and this brings turmoil to their relationship.

Karma is highly recommended to all the romance lovers out there who are looking for steamy scenes, an unpredictable storyline's and a great cast of characters! This can be read as a standalone but it is the final installment to the Serendipity trilogy, so why not start from the beginning and enjoy all the Barron brothers!
