When Grace Andreas’s sister, Petra, and her husband are both killed, Grace inherits the Power and responsibilities of the Oracle of Louisville, as well as her sister’s two young children—neither of which she is prepared for. Then Khalil, Demonkind and Djinn Prince of House Marid, decides to make himself a part of the household both as guardian and counterpoint to Grace’s impudence towards the Elder Races.  (Goodreads)

Oracle’s Moon is another stellar addition to the Elder Races series and if you are a fan of paranormal romances then this is a series you must read. Harrison writing style is ranked with JR Ward and Sherrilyn Kenyon.

In Oracle’s Moon, we get to meet Grace who has taken over the job as Oracle since the passing of her sister. Along with her new duties she has also taken on the role of a mother to her sister’s two younger children as well. During a visit concerning Oracle business Khalil becomes attached to the children and wants to help Grace protect them. As certain situations arise, the connection between Grace and Khalil heat up the pages and turn this book into a fast read.

One of the most memorable elements to this story is tenderness. There are so many struggles Grace is faced with that the reader will easily get in her corner and cheer for her to come out on top.  In this being said I feel one of Harrison’s strong suits to writing is the courageous heroines she creates, well that and... Her sexy Alpha males!

This can be read as a stand alone novel but I highly recommend reading the whole series starting with Dragon Bound! You will not be disappointed!
