Sum It Up! This “book” hit a nerve with me.

Summary:
For years, Tristan Blackthorn has toiled to find his lost love. He finally decides to use Blackthorn Printing, along with his newly created Dark Tales Diaries, as a way to find her. Will her story be one of the three tales in Volume One?

Mistress Guinevere’s calling card is her Red Stilettos. She specializes in a particular fetish and always maintains her control, until a man from her past returns to test her will.

A recently divorced woman experiences the effects of empty nest syndrome after her twins head off to college. With the clock ticking away, she decides it’s far past time to seek out something that has always eluded her. Will she find what she’s looking for with The Leather’s Edge?

Review:
This “book” hit a nerve with me. The story idea is good. Tristan is the publisher/owner of Blackthorn Printing and has come up with this idea “Dark Tales Diaries” to try to flush out this girl he is looking for. The idea is that people will write in about their dark erotic experiences. The three stories we see within this volume are entertaining and…well hot for lack of a better description. The BIG issue I have with this “book” is that it is approximately 49 pages. That is not a Volume; it is a little taste of what is to come. This story would definitely be readable if it wasn’t broken up into little snippets for people to buy. One BOOK with a lot of little diary pages and then Tristan finding what he is looking for would be ideal. As it stands, I have no emotional connection with Tristan, and no interest in reading more to find out what he is looking for.

Unfortunately for London Saint James, I will not be one that is sucked into this buying trap.

  1. Same here, I'm not a big fan of serials. Like a dollar for every chapter until the entire series racks up to how much? Not really worth my penny.
