Sum It Up! This is a series I will love until the end!

Mage apprentices have been vanishing without a trace—and someone on the council might be involved. Alex Verus has no evidence, no witnesses, and no suspects. All he knows is that someone is keeping tabs on him. And after assassins target his own apprentice’s classmate, Alex sees that he doesn’t know the half of it—and that he could be the next to disappear... (Goodreads)

Review:
Taken is the third book in the Alex Verus series...and it does not disappoint! This book could stand alone, however if you were lucky enough to read the first two, you would better understand the characters and the way they have grown and changed throughout the series. I would love to go into more detail about the book, but it would spoil the fun for you! In this book you learn more about light and dark mages and more history of Jacka's magical world.

The Taken world reminds me of Harry Dresden and it's more of a "boys" book in the genre. There is less sex in this "boy" book but lots more action and adventure! It was a great read and was super-fast paced and action packed. I was able to read it in one sitting and loved every minute of it! This is a series I will love until the end!

  1. Harry Dresden eh, love that series, still bummed it got cancelled. I love boys books, so straightforward & its nice to read sexless books once in a while
