Review:

Secrets are revealed, true colors are shown, feelings are confessed and yet another race against time has begun. Book 4 in the Dark Angels series' is chock full of revelations, non-stop action and a true MUST read for fans.

While traveling in the astral to talk to the ghost of Nadler, hoping to gain more information from him that may help lead her in the direction of the face changing dark sorcerer, Risa inadvertently puts herself on yet another mad mans radar. A madman who believes it is his birthright to kill a certain group of female vampires, and using the astral realm to do so. After challenging the Directorate becomes too boring for him, he finds a new adversary in Risa, daring her to find his next victims' before he ends their lives. Why not? Its not as though Risa has anything better to do right?

Still on her quest to gain the keys, while dealing with the astral killer, Risa is also still trying to find the dark sorcerer who stole the first key right from under her nose as well. While doing so, she must fight her growing attraction to her reaper, Azriel. But will her fighting it prove futile in the end? And let us not forget about her Aedh lover, Lucian, who seems determined to stay in her bed at all costs. The question there is, does he truly want her, or is it just the fact that he can read her mind during sex? Who Lucian truly is will be revealed, along with his motivations. Darkness Hunts is a page turner that will have readers on the edge of their seat, never knowing what will happen next. A true action packed thriller if there ever was one. Do NOT attempt to read this book as a stand alone, you would be lost, but if you are a fan of this series' you will definitely feel rewarded.
