Sum It Up!Rachel Caine is a brilliant storyteller and she never lets her reader's down with every release ...
For years, the human and vampire residents of Morganville, Texas, have
managed to co-exist in peace. But now that the threat to the vampires
has been defeated, the human residents are learning that the gravest
danger they face is the enemy within…

Thanks to the eradication of the parasitic creatures known as the
draug, the vampires of Morganville have been freed of their usual
constraints. With the vampires indulging their every whim, the town’s
human population is determined to hold on to their lives by taking up
arms. But college student Claire Danvers isn’t about to take sides,
considering she has ties to both the humans and the vampires.

To make matters worse, a television show comes to Morganville looking
for ghosts, just as vampire and human politics collide. Now, Claire and
her friends have to figure out how to keep the peace without ending up
on the nightly news… or worse.(Goodreads)

Review
Rachel Caine is a brilliant storyteller and she never lets her reader's
down with every release in The Morganville Vampires series! Visiting
our old friends Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael we always get fresh and
unpredicted storyline's that easily draw the reader in and leaves us
begging for more!

Bitter Blood picks up right were we left off with the town back under
the vamps control and Eve and Michael are newlyweds, but we all know
Morganville has a tendency to never stay calm for long. When new
problems arise Claire and the gang band together to protect the town
and themselves but what happens when trust issues become a problem? By
the end I was left speechless and excited to see where Caine will takes
us next! And yes, that is all I am going to say!!

Bitter Blood is told in the POV of Amelie, Claire, Shane, Oliver,
Michael and Myrinn which we have seen in a couple of the previous books
to the series and I hope Caine continues to do so since it lets us get
to know these characters more and who would not want more of
Michael,Shane and Myrinn!! Be on the lookout for the next installment
to the series, Fall Of Night to be released in May 2013, I know I will!!
