Sum It Up!  I tried to read slowly knowing that it may be a while before I get book #2...But with the often shirtless, hairy chested, muscled Logan...it was sooo hard to go slow!

Review
When one of your favorite authors writes a new series and then gives you
an ARC...you dance the crazy happy dance in front of your head-shaking
children and then proceed to devour said book! And devour it I did! I
tried to read slowly knowing that it may be a while before I get book
#2...But with the often shirtless, hairy chested, muscled Logan...it was
sooo hard to go slow!

The Man: Logan Riske goes deep undercover to catch those responsible
for his best friend's murder. His only lead seems to be the sister of a
suspected eye witness. Logan tries everything to get her attention,
including lounging around in his low slung shorts and no shirt. Just
the description of his hairy chest, muscled abs and tanned skin had my
mouth watering! Then, as we meet Logan and get into his personality and
motives, we discover he is another one of Ms. Foster's super-hero
hotties.

The Woman: Pepper is subtle beauty masked by a plain exterior. Hiding
out from her brother's former employers has meant shutting out the
world, especially men. The years in hiding seem to have taken their
toll on Pepper and the hot temptation that Logan presents to her
celibacy is only wearing her down even more. Unable to take it any
longer, Pepper gives in to Logan and their passion is off the charts,
even though she refuses to undress or let him touch her. That part had
me laughing out loud. I literally could see Pepper just climbing on
board, riding Logan hard and saying, "thank you for the use of your
hose". Once knowing how good it can be with Logan and the fact that
Pepper knows her days are numbered, she can't help but give in to Logan
again and again.
The Deception: I loved the twist mid-story! I don't give spoilers, but
suffice to say, I loved Pepper when she released her full flavor! As
the story heats up, the angst and the deceptions run even higher. I
loved that we meet even more hot Foster men...Logan's brother Dash,
Pepper's brother Rowdy, Logan's partner Reece...These seriously alpha,
dominant, hot men will be getting their stories soon enough! I
personally want more of Rowdy and one lovely drink server, but it seems
we will get Reece's story first.

The HEA: Logan is amazing at apologizing and I loved watching him work
his way back into Pepper's good graces. I also loved how Pepper teased
and then demanded from Logan, she was no shrinking violet! The ending
had me on the edge of my seat and cheering for Logan and the boys! I
loved that the men all worked together on different angles and this
first book gave us a good look into each guy and a hint as to their HEA.
Well, all but Dash. His story is still a mystery, but I can feel
already that he will be amazing. Enjoy!

On a side note, you gotta love a girl that has a gun to loan you hidden
in her closet and another in her bedroom for protection! Yup, Reece is
going to have some seriously interesting things to work out with his
little neighbor lady! In Bare it All, Reese Bareden is Logan Riske's
friend and also a detective, who hooks up with a familiar female
character (Alice from Trace of Fever) from the previous series to fight
against injustice (book info from Goodreads just to give you a teaser!)
