Sum It Up!
I won't give spoilers, but suffice to say, a few hearts were dented in this book along the way to Becky and Frank's sweet...HEA. Enjoy!

Rebel with a Cause

Becky "Rebel" Reichert never actually goes looking for trouble. It just has a tendency to find her. Like the day Frank Knight showed up at her door, wanting to use her motorcycle shop as a cover for his elite special ops team. But Becky prides herself on being able to hang with the big boys-she can weld, drive, and shoot just as well as any of them.

Man with a Mission

Munitions, missiles, and mayhem are Frank's way of life. The last thing the ex-SEAL wants is for one brash blonde to come within fifty feet of anything that goes boom. Yet it's just his rotten luck when she ends up in a hostage situation at sea. Come hell or high water, he will get her back-whether she says she needs him or not. (Goodreads)

There were parts of this book that I loved and a few parts that had me screaming at Frank. The poor ducks swimming past my lake float heard this, "Just kiss her Frank...come on, do it or get off the pot!" Needless to say, my kids thought I was a nut and the lake neighbours looked over a few times. But when a book can get me involved, cheering for the heroine...smack talking to the hero...then all the better.

Becky is a biker chick with a heart of gold, which she wears on her sleeve. She is Billy's sister. It was Billy and Frank Knight that showed up three years ago with the money to front her biker shop. Fast forward, the sexual tension and angst has only intensified and Becky wants Frank something fierce. But she knows that Frank has an "uptown lady" that he visits several times a week. She knows she can never have Frank for keeps, but Becky sets her sights on getting him at least once.

Frank...where to start. He believes he is old, all of 37 to Becky's 24. He is hardened and bitter with life, in sharp contrast to Becky's joie de vivre. And most importantly, he has a family to take care of. Period.

When these two finally get together, I was both happy and sad. I won't give spoilers, but suffice to say, a few hearts were dented in this book along the way to Becky and Frank's sweet...HEA. Enjoy!
