Sum It Up! While this story was a nice twist on the mistaken identity plot, it was so fresh with side characters and dialogue that I was smiling as I flipped the pages.

Always putting business before pleasure, Cassie McPherson works hard for her family's construction business. That might explain why she doesn't have a date for the company Christmas party. But it doesn't quite explain why she's crazy enough to hire an escort for the event or - crazier still - why she's dying to unwrap him like a present . . . With whiskey-colored eyes and a killer smile, James is one gorgeous hunk who really knows how to fill out a tuxedo. He charms everyone, including Cassie. And when the night ends, the party doesn't stop. As Cassie falls, literally, into his bed, James falls head over heels in love. Now he has to figure out a way to tell her the truth: he's not an escort. He's her family's fiercest business rival. But all he wants for Christmas is her . . . (Goodreads)

Review:
I really enjoyed this Christmas book! Truth be told, I request tons of Christmas anthologies and I buy every one of the Harlequin Blaze Christmas books. I love to put up tons of lights, decorate my house (complete with a manger in every room), and trim our tree. My sister and I even make naughty gingerbread men and 'ho's (yup, topless gingerbread ladies, tee hee). So when I had a chance to read a cowboy Christmas story, I jumped on it.

While this story was a nice twist on the mistaken identity plot, it was so fresh with side characters and dialogue that I was smiling as I flipped the pages. I just adored Cassie...Cast-iron Cassie. She was hard as nails at work, but so tenderhearted and seeking love that I just wanted to give her a big hug. I was so glad that James and Cassie hit it off instantly and Cassie's brothers didn't try to interfere (too much) until the couple was in sync.

Aunt Wheezie was the most comical character in the book...adds to that James' meddling neighbors and Cassie's four brothers and there was action every few pages. I love these real life scenarios where love just catches up to the lead characters and sucker punches them in the gut. If the jealous outbursts, naked visits and fires weren't enough to entice you to read this one, how about greenhouse make out sessions, girls on dirt bikes, unrequited love found, and Christmas cheer? All I can say is that I am so glad that I have the man of my dreams to share my Christmases with and now so does Cassie! Enjoy!
