Sum It Up!  Olivia Cunning has the most amazing skill at writing sex scenes that become love scenes that unfold into some of the most amazing, touching and heart felt scenes that I have ever read.

For the five sexy rock gods of Sole Regret, finding love is easy, keeping it is hard.

Melanie has no desire to meet the members of the rock band, Sole Regret, but her groupie of a best friend gets them both backstage and then rushes off with the band’s lead singer. Left alone at an after party with a bunch of scary tattooed and pierced metal-heads, sheltered Melanie is relieved when the only normal-looking guy in the room insists on keeping her company.

By the time Melanie discovers that Gabe is the band’s drummer and not as normal as she assumed, she has already made a complete fool of herself. She can’t help but be interested in him, not as a rock star, but as the sexiest man she’s ever encountered. Strangely attracted to his hidden tattoos and body piercing, she wonders what it would be like to spend a night with a bad boy.

Gabe is more than willing to show sweet Melanie there’s more to him than meets the eye. All she has to do is try him. Will they only share a single night of passion? Or will their hearts entangle as quickly as their bodies?

Try Me is the first erotic novella in Olivia Cunning’s One Night with Sole Regret series.

Contains explicit sex, graphic language, and a hot rock star with a naughty and inventive mind. (Goodreads)

Review
This was short...on Goodreads, I gave this one only 4 stars because quite simply...I WANTED MORE! Now, after a few days, I have mellowed and I wanted all the review readers to know that this was a great, hot read.

Mel and her best friend are following after Sole Regret...not because Mel loves the band, their music or even rock stars, but because she is trying to keep her friend in one piece. After much finagling, the two get back stage and Mel quickly finds herself all alone. Just when she felt she should leave, a handsome guy came over to talk with her. He didn't seem anything like the tattooed freaks from the band or their roadies. Then, after talking with him, making a real connection, Mel discovers he is none other than Force, The Sole Regret drummer.

Despite her misgivings and general distain for all things tattoo related, Mel asks Gabe to show her his tattoos. He promptly informs her that they will need to be somewhere much more private for all the tat's to be seen. Well...this was page 5 (or so) and then it was nothing but good stuff!!!

Olivia Cunning has the most amazing skill at writing sex scenes that become love scenes that unfold into some of the most amazing, touching and heart felt scenes that I have ever read. I love how her men leap off the page and her women seem so down to earth. I feel as though I could relate to them and even be friends with them...they aren't over the top "gorgeous" or perfect, but nice, smart, witty accountants that end up falling in love with tattooed, Mohawk, physics dropout-turned rock gods...Enjoy!

  1. COULD not agree more!! I really liked the story, but hated its length. Totally think it should have been longer...but I guess its better to leave us wanting than to leave us unhappy :)

I just read this one too! Here's my review :) "Try Me" Review @ The Brunette Librarian's Blog
