Sum It Up! Wow, wow, wow… it is hard to begin this review without stating how much I loved this book! By far, my favorite in the series!

The vampires of Asheville, North Carolina, want to establish their own clan, but since they owe loyalty to the Master Vampire of New Orleans they must work out the terms with him. To come up with an equitable solution, he sends an envoy with the best bodyguard blood money can buy: Jane Yellowrock.

But when a group of local campers are attacked by something fanged, Jane goes from escort to investigator. Unless she wants to face a very angry mast vampire, she will have to work overtime to find the killer. It's a good thing she's worth every penny. (Goodreads)

Review:
Wow, wow, wow… it is hard to begin this review without stating how much I loved this book! By far, my favorite in the series! Jane is in North Carolina as a bodyguard/security advisor for Leo to oversee negotiations between the head of a vampire clan in Asheville and Leo’s envoy. But of course nothing can ever go smoothly for Jane. Campers are being found dead with markings that the sheriff and media want to blame on vampires, but Jane knows it’s something else. So she has to figure out a way to clear the vampires and find whoever is really killing the campers.

Faith Hunter has created such an extraordinary world that Jane inhabits. Jane is a character unlike any other that I have encountered. Not only are her supernatural abilities unique, but she is a generally likeable character. She has her secrets, which is great because we get to find them out along the way, but she also has a rare type of honesty about her. She cares for her friends and she does her job efficiently. Plus there is Rick Bo, pretty boy Rick. There is something very special between Jane and Rick, even though their relationship hasn’t developed yet or is snagged on the world they live in, I predict that something is definitely in store for them.

Raven Cursed is full of unpredictability, sarcasm, fighting, and magic. Anyone who has loved the Jane Yellowrock series will find Raven Cursed a welcome addition to the previous installments.
