Review:
The Drowning Girl by Caitlin R. Kiernan is unexplainable. The most I can come up with is that Imp is a schizophrenic searching her mind for truths in reality. It appears that she understands she lives partly in a fantasy and partly in true reality but the fine line between the two has been erased. As readers we follow Imp's thoughts into her mind desperately searching out the truths she is telling us is there.

The Drowning Girl is a very deep and mysterious novel that does not focus on Imp being schizophrenic, but the ghosts she so vividly describes. Kiernan has an incredible mind to piece this one of a kind story together. I have always loved a plot that had twists and turns. I have also always loves a story I could never figure out. Though the truths in my opinion never actually come out I ended up taking a great deal from this novel.

The Drowning Girl is everything a thriller should be. If you are searching for an intriguing and wonderful experience I highly recommend this novel. It is simply unforgettable.
