Review:
Invitation to Scandal by Bronwen Evans, is in fact, one of the most thrilling and sensual novels of this time. The protagonist of the story, Rheda Kerrich, is an exciting and many times described as a wild character. She has taken on the role of protecting her brother and their family name in a very unconventional way for the time period. Instead of marring wealthy she runs a smuggling circle ensure her brothers future and keeping her town of Kent in good standing. Of course this is until the dashing Lord Strathmore threatens to shut her down and unintentionally win her heart.

Evans is an incredible storyteller. She has wielded a story that is not only believable but so full of passion it is sure to capture the hearts of readers. Throughout Invitation to Scandal, we meet a variety of characters that in some aspect are important to the story. Evans does an exceptional job at creating well developed characters so there is no question on who is who in this exciting story. Aside from the well-established characters, there is a plot line that cannot be compared with. Evans had me guessing throughout the entire novel as to who the villain was and left me completely baffled at the answer. Instead of giving the reader the relief of a happy ever after Evans has created another plot that is sure to lead to a third book. One that I am sure will be just as thrilling as this one if not more and sensual enough to leave those comfortable in their affairs blushing. I cannot wait to see what happens to these magnificent lovers!
