Ready Or Not
Moira Dunne is a witch—the quantum physics kind. Time and space are her playthings. Which might explain why her one-night stand from a hundred years ago has turned up to “claim” her—and request her family’s assistance with the war he’s brewing. But the more she learns about Connlan Kayrs, the more she comes to think this is normal behavior for him…

There’s Nowhere To Hide
When Conn and Moira tumbled on the moonlit grass, Conn hadn’t meant to mark her as his mate for all time. She was only twenty! But it wasn’t easy to wait for her. It was even harder to forget her. So when he finally returns for his wicked-hot witch, he’s ready to let the sparks flying. Even if he burns up in flames… (Goodreads)

This series is truly hot to the touch.  Readers may want to wear oven mitts before putting their hands on this one because they may be burned from all the magic and pure unadulterated lust!

After an entire century of being apart from a mate she never asked for, Moira finds herself face to face with Connlan Karys.  One would think a hundred years away would put out some of the flames she felt for him, but those embers which were at a slow simmer burst forth to full flame with one look at her mate.  Though the timing sure could have been better.  Not only is the Realm now at war with the Kurjans (the evil vampire race), but the Coven Nine is at a crossroads as to whether or not to pull their alliance from the realm and give it to their enemy.  As the Seventh daughter of the Seventh daughter and an enforcer of the Nine, if the decision is made to withdraw her loyalties will be put to the ultimate test.  Being the ultimate warrior, Conn just may meat his match in his little fiery Daitlyn witch.

While most authors write vampire mates as helpless women without a leg to stand on unless their mate is around to hold their hand, that is not the case here folks!  Zanetti has created a vampire mate whom is a true force to be reckoned with, on and off the pages.  Skilled in not only witchcraft, martial arts, quantum physics and maybe the most deadly attribute of all, diplomacy.  Also, especially with this couple, there is no instant love.  They have actually taken the time to know one another, more than justs each others' bodies but their minds' as well.

This third installment of the Dark Protectors series is full of nonstop action from one page to the next.  Zanetti will keep readers on the edge of their seat, never knowing which direction the next punch, or bite, will fly from.  While Hunted can be read as a stand alone, I strongly reading the prior installments first to get a real feel of everything taking place, and to get to know all of the players.
