The hotly-anticipated twelfth instalment in the Morganville Vampires series

In Last Breath, the rain brought a new and dire threat to Morganville and its vampires... their ancient enemies, the draug. Now, the vampires are fighting a losing war, and it will fall to the residents of the Glass House: Michael, Eve, Shane and Claire, to take the fight to an enemy who threatens to destroy the town, forever.

Lovers of Morganville, rejoice: Black Dawn takes the intrigue, romance and nail-biting suspense of the series to its highest level yet!(Goodreads)

The gang is back! Caine delivers another fangtastic book in the Morganville Vampires series that seems to get better and better with each installment! Her formula of writing brilliance shows as after 12
books, and the fans still can not get enough of these cast of characters that we hold near and dear to our hearts.

Black Dawn picks up right where we left off in Last Breath. Morganville has been taking over by the vamps arch nemesis, the draug. This action pact thrill ride takes readers on one challenge after another as Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael do what ever they must to take down the draug and get Morganville back to the way things were (even if it's to be run by the vampires). However, to accomplish this they put their lives
at stake, loyalty is put to the test, and they suffer unexpected loss. As in the two previous installments we switch POV's, and this time we get Claire, Shane, Eve, Michael and Hannah's perspective but never fear there is plenty of Myrinn in there!

As in true Morganville fashion there are some tender moments, and at the conclusion we are left with one. Although we may be going into a new Morganville, we just have to wait and see. Be on the lookout for
the next installment Bitter Blood to hit shelves November 2013!
