I had high hopes, but what I got was a Red Riding Hood knockoff porn read. There was no emotional connection between the characters; I didn’t feel the love with Conall or even the sexual desire with the Ulric. There were entirely too many editing errors that distracted me throughout the entire book. It was too slow in some places and too rushed in others. I felt like there were chunks missing and was confused in a few places. The sex scenes were awful; it was pure porn because there was no character connection. A virgin, completely knowledgeable about how to please a man, and eager to be taken hard-in front of the entire pack…just didn't work for me. I was a little surprised to see that the author is a woman because the book feels like it was written by a man and for a male audience.

I don’t like writing bad reviews and I apologize to Ms. Eavenshade, but this was not my cup of tea. I think the blurb and the few reviews on Goodreads were a little misleading.
