Winning Heart is definitely a story that’ll capture your heart. I absolutely love this story. Laura Browning has a special way with words that pulls you in and makes you care deeply for her characters. Right off the bat, Wynter is a character you root for - she’s spunky, determined and smart. Nelson’s character is a bit awkward at first, but as the story progresses, he’s really someone you want to know better. The relationship between Wynter and Nelson is divine. They have great chemistry and the sensual scenes between them are written very well. Reading how their relationship blooms and how each of them grows is amazing. 

The major danger element is devastating and definitely not for the faint of heart. Wynter and Nelson’s relationship is tested way beyond normal boundaries. My only difficulties with the story is that Nelson starts having these feeling not even a year after his wife and child are killed (the time of grief isn’t realistic to me), and that Wynter is eighteen years old. The story is written well, flows swiftly and is phenomenal. I look forward to reading more from Laura Browning.
