Now that the threat of war has passed, Sabina Kane is ready to focus on the future. Her relationship with Adam Lazarus is getting stronger and she's helping her sister, Maisie, overcome the trauma of her captivity in New Orleans. Even Giguhl is managing to stay out of trouble thanks to the arrival of Pussy Willow and his new roller derby team. But as much as Sabina wants to feel hopeful about the future, part of her doesn't believe that peace is possible.

Her suspicions are confirmed when a string of sadistic murders threatens to stall treaty negotiations between the mages and the vampires. Sabina pitches in to find the killer, but her investigation soon leads her down dark paths that have her questioning everyone she thought she could trust. And the closer she gets to the killer, the more Sabina begins to suspect this is one foe she may not be able to kill. (Amazon)

SILVER TONGUED DEVIL is the best of the Sabina Kane series. It has everything readers adored from the first three novels and more. Action, romance, and hear-searing emotion are just a few of what this fantastic book has to offer readers.

I felt like I was trapped in a whirlpool with the emotion running so high in the story. Readers will experience the heartbreak Sabina must experience along with her happiness in full definition and color. Giguhl is one of my favorite characters of all time. What is not to love about a seven foot tall, green, Mischief demon? I enjoyed the raw and realness of Sabina and Adam's relationship. They are not happy all the time and giddy with love like some couples at the end of a romance, nor are they fighting constantly and running away from one another because of their "pasts" like many other romances. The side characters of the story are fantastic and even the bad guys are worth rooting for. Jaye Wells packs as much of a punch with her characterization alone than many authors' literary elements combined.

The plot in SILVER TONGUED DEVIL never relents. One moment readers will be on the edge because of the action flying from the page and the next struggling with Sabina's decisions. Jaye Wells does an amazing job balancing the many plot and story arcs that are weaved into SILVER TONGUED DEVIL: her relationship with her sister along with Adam and Giguhl, her battles with new side characters, the investigation of the murders, her conflicting natures, secrets, and the looming threat of Cain. This could all attribute to one confusing novel, but Wells explains everything in such vivid detail no one will have trouble following.

With the epic and shocking end to SILVER TONGUED DEVIL, readers will be sweating in anticipation for BLUE BLOODED VAMP coming to stores May 2012.
